Indian Parliamentray Delegation led by Lok Sabha Speaker to visit Mongolia

New Delhi, 25 June 2010: Hon’ble Speaker, Lok Sabha, Smt. Meira Kumar is leading an Indian Parliamentary Delegation to Mongolia from 26 to 30 June, 2010.  The Delegation includes Shri Manikrao Hodlya Gavit, Dr. Virendra Kumar,  Shri Raashid Alvi, Shri Bharatkumar Raut, Shri Raju Shetti alias Devappa Anna and Dr. Pulin Bihari Baske, all Members of Parliament and Shri P.D.T. Achary, Secretary-General, Lok Sabha.  Shri Devender Singh, Joint Secretary, Lok Sabha Secretariat is the Secretary to the Delegation. 

During their visit to Mongolia, the Delegation will call on H.E. Mr. Tsakhia Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia and will meet H.E. Mr. Sukhbaataryn Batbold, Prime Minister of Mongolia and H.E. Mr. Damdin Demberel, Chairman of the State Great Hural of Mongolia and will have wide ranging discussions on issues of international and bilateral importance.  Hon’ble Speaker, Lok Sabha will also lay wreath at the monument of D. Sukhbaatar and pay homage to the statue of Chinggis Khan.

The Delegation will leave for Mongolia on Saturday, 26 June 2010.
